Yes. We provide breakfast, a mid-morning snack, a freshly cooked hot lunch, and afternoon tea. All meat is Halal. Our cook Mrs. Cristina Dudu prepares fresh, nutritious meals daily following the "Eat Better Start Better" guidelines. Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements at registration.
Our staff ratios comply fully with government guidelines as set out in the EYFS Statutory Framework. For children under 2, we maintain a ratio of 1:3. For 2-year-olds the ratio is 1:4, and for 3–5 year olds it is 1:8. We often exceed these minimum requirements.
Potty training is handled collaboratively with parents. We follow the child's lead and work closely with families to ensure a consistent and supportive approach both at nursery and at home. Please speak to your child's key person to plan the best approach for your child.
Yes. We offer school pick-up and drop-off services, making us a convenient childcare solution for families with school-age children. Please contact us for details about the schools we serve and the arrangements available.
We have the same high expectations for all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). We adapt our planning to meet individual needs and very sensitively encourage all children to try their best. We work closely with families and other professionals to provide the right support for every child.
We use Baby's Days — the leading EYFS management system used by childcare settings across the UK and internationally — to keep you connected with your child's day.
Through the Baby's Days parent app, you can see:
You will be set up with your parent account when your child starts with us. If you have any difficulty accessing the app, please speak to a member of staff.
We understand how important it is for parents to feel connected with their child's day. Baby's Days allows us to share real-time updates, so you always feel close to your child even when you're apart.
All data on Baby's Days is securely stored and only accessible to authorised parents and staff. Photos and information are never shared publicly. We comply fully with GDPR and data protection requirements.
The app also allows you to send messages to your child's key person, share information about how your child was at home, and stay up to date with nursery news and events.

"The diverse and inclusive approach at MayGardens is something I really value as a parent. My children are learning about different cultures and traditions every week, and the staff treat every family with such warmth."
"As a working parent, having a nursery that is open early and late, and covers school holidays, is invaluable. The after-school club for my older child is brilliant too. MayGardens has become part of our family."
